STEAMI Summer Institute

STEAMI Summer Institute is an annual summer program dedicated to educating and empowering African-American males between the ages 5 and 10. STEAMI stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math Innovation. 

STEAMI Summer Institute is an annual 7-week program that begins on June 5th and ends July 21st. The times of the sessions are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The location of our program is Mt Olive Baptist Church (1601 Dandridge Ave 37915). This summer we celebrated STEAMI’s 6th year in existence. 

Past STEAMI students have seen a vast improvement in areas of Math, Reading, Science, Writing, and Language Arts.

We have served over 350 youth since 2016.
