Black History 101 Mobile Museum

UUNIK Academy, Beck Cultural Exchange Center, and S.M.A.R.T. Institute hosted the Black History 101 Museum exhibit on February 17th at the Beck Cultural Exchange Center (1927 Dandridge Ave 37915).


This event was from 10 am to 3 pm and was free to the public.


 The purpose of the Black History 101 Mobile Museum is to educate and inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds through the presentation of an award-winning collection of over 10,000 original artifacts.


Spanning from the Trans-Atlantic slave trade era to modern hip-hop culture, the museum aims to preserve, document, and celebrate the rich legacy of Black history. Through its mobile format, it seeks to make history accessible to diverse audiences nationwide, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the contributions and experiences of Black individuals throughout history.


The Black History 101 Mobile Museum was founded by  Dr. Khalid el-Hakim.
